Teaching My Child About Jesus

Lovely Lady, I am SO thankful that you are here and are ready to pour love into your child’s life through prayer. What an amazing person you are! In this article of the series, we will focus on “Teaching My Child About Jesus”. Welcome to Day 1 of the Praying Scripture Over My Child Series.

Let’s get this started!

Prayer

“I pray that my children will know

and love you as their Savior. I pray

that my children will understand that

you love them so much that you gave

your life for them. Because they believe

in You, they will live forever with you.”

Devotion | Teaching My Child About Jesus

What a price Jesus Christ paid when He died on the cross for our sins. His love is something that we should never want to take for granted.

It’s so very important for our children to know and understand the love of Jesus and the price that was paid just for them.

It’s never too early to start teaching your children.

One day, as I was going through the day my sweet son, who is only 3 said “Mommy, Jesus touched my heart”, as he placed both of his little hands over his heart.

My friend, you talk about my very own heart swelling with love for this child. He already knows that Jesus is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

He already knows that Jesus is One who we can call on when we need a friend.

Jesus loves our children and I believe that children begin to feel that special love from an early age. It is evident in their actions.

This is a very important prayer to pray because above all, we want our children to KNOW who Jesus is. He’s not just a story in a book but something very real inside of our heart, mind, and soul.
